BedBugs in Movie Theaters

Here’s what you need to know about Bedbugs for Christmas 2015.

The holiday season is distracting. We are all focused on family friends, “the kids”, presents and the traveling, [plus the StarWars movie?]. It’s easy to forget some basic travel rules and safety items. I’m here to remind you to watch for Bedbugs.

Hello my tasty-human friends. I’m MrBedBug, Chief SpokesBug for FLfresh.com and EcoBugFREE, the BedBug Eliminator. I am a TV star on MrBedBug-TV on YouTube and Editor of the BedBug News Reports.com

The BedBug infestation of America is in full swing, and the holiday travels increase your chance of being effected by BedBugs in TWO ways. BedBugs are hitch-hikers. They cling to any fabric that smells like a tasty-human buffet opportunity. As YOU travel, it’s likely you could be in proximity to Bedbugs in airplane seats, taxis and bus/train seats, plus theaters seats [for StarWars or the church holiday performance] and of course the hotel room. The flip side is: family members who travel to visit you have all the same touch-points, they then bring BedBugs into your home. Bedbugs love suitcases, heavy winter coats, pant leg cuffs, ladies purses and fluffy hats. While it’s true that BedBugs are world-travelers, you might want to know about the Top 50 Most BedBug Infested Cities in America too.

Before you get scared and decide to “stay home”, remember that BedBugs in the workplace is a growing problem too, so GO – Visit- have fun, just be aware of your exposure to BedBugs in every environment.

Here are some quick pointers, but first , Lets start with “What do BedBugs look like?”. You can read more in-depth elsewhere on BedBugNewsReports.com

BedBugs on a BUS? In Philadelphia this time.

BedBugs on a bus has become a common headline, not just in Philadelphia, but with metro bus and rail operations across the country. Increased awareness of Bedbugs is making commuters more aware, but also quicker to jump to conclusions. Local CBS 3 TV in Philadelphia jumped on the news story. You can see the webpage version of the story about BedBugs on SEPTA Busses HERE. None of this should be a surprise, since Philadelphia is on the Top 50 Most Bedbug Infested Cities list.

Here’s what riders can learn about this newest – BedBugs on the Bus – news story:

1> Be aware. Remember: BedBugs are hitch-hikers. “We” follow you tasty-humans everywhere / anywhere you go. You are just as likely to see Bedbugs in a movie theater and you are in your office cubicle, a DR office waiting room, an airplane seat, in a rent-a-car or a your children’s school. BedBugs will cling to any fabric that smells like a tasty-human “buffet-opportunity” and travel from place to place, look for a new home/nest to build. [BedBug “nest” are called “harborages”]

2> Don’t panic. BedBugs do NOT spread disease. They are embarrassing. They are incredibly difficult to remove. Once infested into your home, they are tough to kill, but Bedbugs won’t KILL you.

3> Report all sightings. Know what BedBugs look like [there are photo examples […]

BedBugs in the movie theater probably won’t help your “date night” romance.

The furniture co- IKEA and the CinemaPark Movie Theater company are testing a new movie theater concept, but I’m not sure it will “fly”.    As you see in this photo, the seats of the theater have been replaced with beds !?!

I’m General BedBug, Commanding Officer of the  BedBug Resistance Army  and “battle consultant” to FLfresh.com and , EcoBugFREE, the BedBug Eliminator.   You can follow my “war-room” briefings to see how the battles move from city to city.   I am @GeneralBedbug on Twitter and I do postings like this one on the BedBug News Reports.com

I’ll be the first to admit that we BedBugs don’t understand you humans.   BedBugs don’t spread disease and we only take a tiny blood-sucking meal, while you sleep  [we thought that would be the quietest, most convenient time of your busy day], yet you freak-out at the mere mention of our names.  [when you should really be worried about those disqusting cock-roaches and mosquitos, that really DO spread disease.]

With this in mind, WHY would you put BEDS in a dark theater and then share them with hundreds of tasty-human buffet opportunites.   Don’t get me wrong, as the Chief Commander of the BedBug Resistance Army, I am absolutely THRILLED with this opportunity to spread my “forces” into each and every new home.  It’s just curious that no one is mentioning the “strategic advantage” this gives my Bedbug Resistance Armies.   You see, movie theaters are already one of the best spots where I deploy my Bedbug “forces”.    A BedBug will cling to any fabric that smells like a human,  especially if it is dark and you tasty-humans are stationary for long periods of time.

Cleveland [Ohio] Cops carry weapons to kill BedBugs…& that’s stupid.

The BedBug News Reports is here to help you learn how to avoid Bedbugs and kill an infestation in your home, apartment, condo, hospital, ALF or other living facility. Because we “experts”, who follow the media, we see lots of dumb [or incomplete] news reports about even dumber stuff that happens. Todays episode is a great example. I understand the local TV news business, and every item can’t be a 60 Minutes-style investigative news report, but shouldn’t your local station at least ask obvious questions?

The local TV station [NewsNet5 /WEWS TV ] has a report about BedBugs in Cleveland. Since the city is on the Top 50 Most Bedbug Infested Cities in America list, the police need “protection” too.

Here’s the news report that caught our eye. http://www.newsnet5.com/news/local-news/cleveland-metro/cleveland-police-to-carry-spray-to-kill-bed-bugs

The problem is: There is NO topical spray that kills Bedbugs in the way that is described here. Either the reporters/anchors at NewsNet5 / WEWS got it “wrong” in the report, or the Police Chief was “sold a bill of goods”.

Ohio is one of the few states that created a “Bedbug Task Force” to deal with the issue and make recommendations to local authorities. NO one is suggesting the solution is BedBug Cops ? [insert theme song from my new TV show idea HERE– “BED bugs, bed BUGs, whatch gonna do? whatch gonna do when they come for you”]
